It is the largest port crane in medieval Europe, one of the most distinctive buildings in Gdansk. Situated on the Motława, was used for cargo handling and placing of masts on ships. He was also a gateway city. Current form received in the years 1442-1444. In its interior is restored and open the drive mechanism - a huge wooden wheel that is raised once the strength of human legs. Crane is one of the branches of the Central Naval Museum.
