Inside you can admire the beautifully preserved historical exhibition of optical equipment and "Lighthouses of Gdansk for the ages." He admires the view from the top of the Port of Gdansk, Westerplatte and the entire Gulf of Gdansk and Gdynia to the Hel.
27-meter lighthouse in New Port was built on the model of the famous lighthouse built in 1871 in Cleveland (USA). Served a threefold purpose: as a lighthouse, port pilots and the tower base ball until removed in 1929 The latter was a remarkable instrument. Its increase and decrease at noon every master of a ship standing allowed on roads in the precise setting of marine chronometers, necessary for accurate navigation.
The lighthouse is open to visitors from May to September.
