The majestic three crosses with anchors - symbols of hope commemorate the sacrifices of workers' strikes of December 1970, request permission to place a monument at the gates of the shipyard was one of the key demands of striking shipyard workers in Gdansk in August 1980. Crosses to 42 m tall and weigh almost 140 tons. At the foot of the monument consists of flowers of all official delegations visiting Gdańsk.
