The most prominent and most valuable secular building of the former Gdansk, the seat of city government. Was built from 1379 to 1492. Completely burned in 1945 was rebuilt to 1970 is now the seat of the Gdańsk History Museum. The interior hall decorated in the style of Dutch Mannerism. Its decor is the work of such masters as Hans Vredeman de Vries, Izaak van den Blocke and Simon Herle.
