Before we built this stately building, became the oldest here Gdansk Kogi gate, dating from the XIV century in the years 1564-1568 it was demolished and built mannerist building, which retains to this day. The gate was built between 1568-1571 by Regnier of Amsterdam and Hans Kramer from Dresden, to host the visiting monarchs city.
